Jason Shearer, your knowledgeable skipper, grew up in Mission Beach, where he started his maritime career over 25 years ago. He and his partner Bec live locally, and would love to show you some of the area’s tropical beauty.

Location
We mainly service the waters off the coast of Mission Beach, encompassing the Family Group of islands, (including Dunk Island), the Barnard Group of islands to the north, the local reef systems to the east, and the local river and estuarine systems both to the north and south of Mission Beach.

Island Camping Dropoff
Several tropical islands off the coast of Mission Beach have designated camping grounds. The Department of National Parks, Recreation, Sport and Racing (NPRSR) maintain most of them for all to enjoy.
Numbers of campers are limited on each island, and permits are required. We are an official booking agent for all Queensland National Parks, so let us organise necessary permits and camping tags for you to secure your stay.

$5.75 per person per night
$23 per family (2 adults + 3 children) per night.
Camping Equipment Hire
Mission Beach Charters have a range of equipment for hire that won’t break your budget. Tents, mattresses, sleeping bags, cooking equipment & utensils, toilet/shower cubicles, porta potties, chairs, eskies, even 3m x 3m gazebos are available, plus much more…
We offer package deals which include transfers and permits, and also discounts for multiple daily hire.
